How long does it take your website to download? Research shows that anything over 8 seconds is too long.

What happens after 8 seconds? People lose attention span. People go away.

Thanks for your post – we have just used that tool ourselves, and we have managed to reduce the main page from 173769 bytes down to 82026 bytes, which is a saving of 91743 bytes.

It is a great tool – and also another useful one to use for your images is called GifBot – helps to get your images nice and small.
